What Are Support and Resistance?
Support is a price zone where falls stopped before because buyers took over; resistance is a zone where rises stopped because sellers took over.
Explained
Treat support and resistance as zones rather than exact lines. The more often a zone holds, the more it matters, and a clearly broken resistance can become support when retested, which is called role reversal.
Example
Example with made-up numbersPrice bounced three times from 1.0950–1.0960, so that is a support zone. If a daily candle closes clearly below 1.0950, the zone may turn into resistance.
