What Is Tokenomics?
Tokenomics is a crypto token’s economics: how many units exist, how many will be issued later, who holds them and when locked shares unlock.
Explained
The circulating supply can be a small part of the total, and large unlocks for the team or early investors can weigh on price. That is why traders compare today’s market cap with the value once the full supply is out.
Example
Example with made-up numbersA 1-dollar coin with 100 million circulating out of 1 billion has a market cap of 100 million, but a fully diluted value of 1 billion dollars at the same price.
