- Your money over timeEach line is one of the markets you chose. Move your finger over the chart to see your money's value on any date, and what you had paid in by then.
- Amount and how you investType the amount, and pick "Once" or "Every month" to see what if you invested that same amount every month.
- Since when?Pick when the investment starts: 1, 3, 5 or 10 years ago.
- Compare up to 3 marketsTap "+ Add to compare" to add a market such as gold, a stock or a crypto coin, and × to remove it.
- Each market in detailFor each market: "Your money today", the gain or loss, the "Average yearly return" and the "Biggest drop on the way". The drop shows how much patience it took.
Why it helps
The “what if” question shows two things: how much money grew over the long run, and how deep a drop you would have had to sit through without selling. That biggest drop tells you whether you would really have held on. The figures come from past data and do not guarantee the future.
FAQ

Pick gold and 10 years, enter the amount, and see today’s value from real price data.
